Anti-Axons of the Drosophila CNS antibody [BP102] images

  • ab12455 used in immunofluorescence at 1/1000 on Drosophila embryos. The protocol used is available in the Neuroscience Abwire in the protocols section.

    Briefly, embryos were fixed with PBS, formaldehyde and n-heptane. Embryos were then dechorionated with 100% bleach and rehydrated with PBT (PBS with 0.3% Tritone added) before antibody staining.

  • ab12455 used in immunohistochemistry at 1/1000 on Drosophila embryos. The protocol used is available in the Neuroscience Abwire in the protocols section.

    Briefly, embryos were fixed with PBS, formaldehyde and n-heptane. Embryos were then dechorionated with 100% bleach and rehydrated with PBT (PBS with 0.3% Tritone added) before antibody staining. Visualisation was with alkaline phosphatase.

  • ab12455 staining axons in mouse brain tissue section by Immunohistochemistry (Frozen sections). Tissue samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde and blocking with a solution that contains 2% Block Ace, 0.05% Triton X-100 and PBS was performed at 250C for 1 hour. The sample was incubated with primary antibody (1/1000) in a dilution buffer containing 2% Block Ace, 0.05% Triton X-100 and PBS at 40C for 12 hours. Cyt3®-conjugated donkey polyclonal to mouse IgG was used as secondary antibody at 1/500 dilution.
