The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 115 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 115 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.
Use at an assay dependent concentration.
ELISA titre using peptide based assay: 1/62500.
FunctionTransfers N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) from UDP-GalNAc to N-acetylglucosamine-beta-benzyl with a beta-1,4-linkage to form N,N'-diacetyllactosediamine, GalNAc-beta-1,4-GlcNAc structures in N-linked glycans and probably O-linked glycans. Mediates the N,N'-diacetyllactosediamine formation on gastric mucosa.
Tissue specificityHighly expressed in testis, colon and stomach. Weakly expressed in other tissues.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the chondroitin N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase family.
