Properties

Applications

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab54833 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Application Abreviews Notes
ELISA Use at an assay dependent dilution. Detection limit for recombinant tagged BCL9 is approximately 0.03ng/ml if used as a capture antibody.
WB 1/500 - 1/1000. Detects a band of approximately 37 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 149 kDa). This antibody has only been tested in WB against the recombinant fragment used as immunogen. We have no data on the detection of endogenous protein.
ICC/IF Use a concentration of 10 µg/ml.

Target

Anti-BCL9 antibody images

  • ab54833 at 10µg/ml staining BCL9 in HeLa cells by Immunofluorescence.
  • Anti-BCL9 antibody (ab54833) at 1/500 dilution + Recombinant fragment of human BCL9 at 0.2 µg

    Secondary
    Goat Anti-Mouse IgG (H&L)-HRP at 1/5000 dilution

Predicted band size : 149 kDa
Observed band size : 37 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
