Synthetic peptide derived from within residues 1 - 100 of Human beta Tubulin.
(Peptide available as ab20775.)
Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab21057 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
|WB||Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 51 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 50 kDa).Can be blocked with Human beta Tubulin peptide (ab20775).|
ab21057 detects a band of ~ 50kDa in Hela whole cell lysate, HeLa nuclear lysate and A431 lysates (data for HeLa nuclear and A431 not shown). These bands are blocked by the addition of the immunizing peptide, ab20775.
Western blot image using the Optiblot Reducing Electrophoresis Kit - 10 x 10 cm (4-20%) (ab119220) with the
Prism Ultra Protein Ladder (ab116028) 5µl used. We recommend using our ECL substrate kit (ab65623) .
20ug of Lysate per lane and detection using ab21057 diluted to 1ug/ml.
Lane 1: Hela cell lysate.
Lane 2: Jurkat cell lysate
Lane 3: A431 cell lysate
Lane 4: HEK293 cell lysate
Lane 5: HepG2 cell lysate.
ab21057 staining beta tubulin in CV1 (fibroblasts) cells from African green monkey by ICC/IF (Immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence). Cells were fixed with methanol and permeabilized with methanol. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/500 in PBS + 5% BSA) for 1 hour 30 minutes at 22°C. An Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated Donkey anti-goat polyclonal was used as the secondary antibody (1/200).
