I thought it would be great to have a regular post on the blog to let you know where Abcam went in the last week. So without further ado,

• Tanya attended a 'Breast Cancer Clinics and Biology' course at the Institut Curie, Paris, France. This covered the epidemiology, biology, genetics, pathology, epigenetic and therapy of breast cancers and the different techniques used in the detection and research of this disease.
• Lee and Laetitia attended the first annual Immunochemotherapy conference, also at the Institut Curie, to meet with researchers in this rapidly growing area and exhibit Abcam's Immunology and Cancer products. This meeting focused on the experimental evidence surrounding the concept that chemotherapy may and should induce an anti-cancer immune response.

We also attend scientific tradeshows, and organize our own events to provide opportunities for junior scientists to showcase their work.
