Children in Need

Staff from Abcam's UK office took part in fundraising activities for the BBC's Children in Need appeal and raised over £500.

We held a buffet lunch in our office, and very tasty it was too! The more energetic types entered three teams in the 20th annual Cambridge Fun Run. The teams posted times of 33:30, 35:50 and 43:58 for the 4 x 1.1 mile sponsored relay race.

All the money will be distributed by Children in Need to organizations supporting children aged 18 and under who have mental, physical or sensory disabilities; behavioral or psychological disorders; are living in poverty or situations of deprivation; or suffering through distress, abuse or neglect.
