Here's the latest in a series of regular posts to let you know what our scientific experts have been up. In the last couple of weeks:
- Daniele went to Riva del Garda, IT, for the 15th annual Telethon Scientific Convention, March 9-11. 800 scientists attended this event, which showcased state of the art research on rare genetic diseases from in vitro studies to clinical trials
.
- Lorna attended the Hypoxia and Consequences conference held at New York, NY, March 12 - 14. The meeting covered three main topics: transcriptional responses to hypoxia, oxygen sensing and pathophysiological responses to hypoxia.
- Catherine and Kate went to Oxford, UK for the BSI Oxford Immunology group meeting: 'Lymphocytes, Memory and Disease'. This prestigious event brought together 150 delegates to discuss T cell differentiatation and to celebrate the career of Professor Peter Beverly.
- Chris was in New Haven, CO for the annual conference StemConn, organized by the Harvard and Yale Stem Cell Institutes. Our posters and pathways were particularly popular, with over 500 copies flying off the Abcam stand!
