The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesPeptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution : 1/4000.
WB: Use at a concentration of 1 - 3 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 37 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 33 kDa).
The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Spiegelberg et al, J Biol Chem. 1999 May 7;274(19):13619-28.; PMID: 10224133).
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
FunctionConverts adenosine 3'-phosphate 5'-phosphosulfate (PAPS) to adenosine 5'-phosphosulfate (APS) and 3'(2')-phosphoadenosine 5'- phosphate (PAP) to AMP. Has 1000-fold lower activity towards inositol 1,4-bisphosphate (Ins(1,4)P2) and inositol 1,3,4-trisphosphate (Ins(1,3,4)P3), but does not hydrolyze Ins(1)P, Ins(3,4)P2, Ins(1,3,4,5)P4 or InsP6.
Tissue specificityHighly expressed in kidney, liver, pancreas and heart. Detected at lower levels in brain, placenta, lung and skeletal muscle.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the inositol monophosphatase family.
