The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 2 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 49 kDa.
Use a concentration of 5 µg/ml. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
Use at an assay dependent concentration.
FunctionInhibits NF-kappa-B activation. May participate in a regulatory mechanism that coordinates cellular responses controlled by NF-kappa-B transcription factor. May be a component of the inflammasome, a protein complex which also includes PYCARD, NALP2 and CASP1 and whose function would be the activation of proinflammatory caspases.
Tissue specificityHigh expression in lung, ovary, testis and placenta. Lower expression in heart, kidney and liver. Also expressed in spleen, lymph node and bone marrow.
ab115313 at 5ug/ml staining CARD8 in Human spleen tissue by immunohistochemistry (FFPE). After primary incubation slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody,
followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
