General notesThe lyophilized antibody is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -200C. The reconstituted antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-80C. Frozen aliquots are stable for at least 6 months when stored at -200C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
FormLyophilised:Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml.
Storage instructionsShipped at 4°C. Upon delivery aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 14 kDa. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant human CCL28 is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Use a concentration of 0.5 - 2 µg/ml. May be used in conjunction with ab113653 as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant CCL28.
FunctionChemotactic activity for resting CD4, CD8 T-cells and eosinophils. Binds to CCR3 and CCR10 and induces calcium mobilization in a dose-dependent manner.
Tissue specificityPreferentially expressed by epithelial cells of diverse tissues including normal and pathological colon, salivary gland, mammary gland, trachea and rectum. Also found in prostate, spleen, thyroid, psoriasis skin and in lower levels in peripheral blood leukocytes, small intestine, Peyer patches, stomach and normal skin.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family.
