In addition it seems useful for identification of myelomonocytic and monocytic leukemias.

    Integrin alpha-X/beta-2 is a receptor for fibrinogen. It recognizes the sequence G-P-R in fibrinogen. It mediates cell-cell interaction during inflammatory responses. It is especially important in monocyte adhesion and chemotaxis.

  • ab23602 staining CD11c in human monocyte-derived dendritic cells by Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence. The cells were paraformaldehyde fixed, permeabilised in 0.1% Triton X/PBS and then blocked using 1% BSA for 30 minutes at 21°C. Samples were then incubated with primary antibody at 1/10 for 45 minutes at 37°C. The secondary antibody used was a donkey anti-mouse IgG conjugated to Cy3® (red) used at a 1/1000 dilution. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue), GFP-labelled bacteria in green.
