Target

  • Function
    Cooperates with MD-2 and TLR4 to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Acts via MyD88, TIRAP and TRAF6, leading to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. Up-regulates cell surface molecules, including adhesion molecules.

    Expressed strongly on the surface of monocytes and weakly on the surface of granulocytes; also expressed by most tissue macrophages.

    Cells were isolated from Ficoll-Paque density gradient in 2% human serum, 0.5 mM EDTA in PBS. The sample was incubated with the primary antibody (1/100 in 2% human serum, 0.5 mM EDTA in PBS) for 20 minutes at 4°C.

Thank you for contacting us. The CD14 antibody is already conjugated to PE/CY5, so I wouldn't recommend trying to use the kit to conjugate it to something else. We do have an unconjugated version of the same antibody with catalog ab25625.
