The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use at an assay dependent concentration. ab170190-Mouse monoclonal IgG1, is suitable for use as an isotype control with this antibody.
RelevanceCD1B and CD1C are members of the CD1 family of major histocompatibility (MHC)-like glycoproteins. CD1 proteins mediate the presentation of lipid and glycolipid antigens to T cells. The CD1B protein localizes to late endosomes and lysosomes via a tyrosine-based motif in the cytoplasmic tail, and requires vesicular acidification to bind lipid antigens. The human genome contains five CD1 family genes, clustered on chromosome 1. CD1 family members are thought to differ in their cellular localization and specificity for lipid ligands.
Cellular localizationSingle-pass type I membrane protein.
