The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use 1µg for 105 cells. Use at less than or equal to 1 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 105 to 108 cells/test.
ab18434-Mouse monoclonal IgG1, is suitable for use as an isotype control with this antibody.
FunctionInvolved in T-cell activation, the induction of cell proliferation and cytokine production and promotion of T-cell survival.
Tissue specificityExpressed in T-cells and plasma cells, but not in less mature B-cells.
Flow cytometry staining of rat splenocytes with Anti-Rat CD5 FITC and 0.25 µg of Mouse IgG1 ? Isotype Control Biotin (left) or 0.5 µg of ab95561 (right) followed by Streptavidin PE. Total viable cells were used for analysis.
