Synthetic peptide comprising the 13 C-terminal amino acids of the cytoplasmic domain of CD8 alpha chain.
Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab4055 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
|WB||Use at an assay dependent concentration. Detects a band of approximately 26 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 26 kDa).|
|IHC-Fr||Use at an assay dependent concentration.|
ab4055 staining CD8 in human spleen tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-P - paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections). Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde and blocked with 2% BSA for 10 minutes at 21°C; antigen retrieval was by heat mediation in citric acid. Samples were incubated with the primary antibody (1/100 in TBS/BSA/azide) for 16 hours at 21°C. A biotin-conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG polyclonal (1/300) was used as the secondary antibody.
ab4055 staining CD8 in Human colon tumour tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-Fr - frozen sections). Tissue was fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS and blocked with 5% serum for 1 hour at 24°C. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/500 in PBS + 0.3% Triton X-100 + 1% BSA) for 3 hours at 24°C. An undiluted Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated Goat anti-rabbit IgG polyclonal was used as the secondary antibody. Left - patient with low CD8, Right - patient with high CD8.
ab4055 at 1/200 staining CD8 in human tonsil tissue section by Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/ PFA fixed paraffin-embedded sections).
