This product contains sodium azide, which under acid conditions yields hydrazoic acid, a toxic compound.
Azide compounds should be diluted with running water before being discarded to avoid deposits in lead or copper plumbing where explosive conditions may develop.

RelevanceCD8: This antigen is present on human T suppressor/cytotoxic cell subtypes, that represents 20-36% of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes, and on NK cells subset (CD3-CD8+) and thymocytes. Patients with AIDS exhibit T cells lymphopenia, a loss of CD4+ lymphocytes and a relative increase in the CD8+ subtype and in the CD3+CD4-CD8- subtype.
HLA-DR (human Class II histocompatibility antigen): This antigen is present on antigen presenting cells (APC), B cells, monocytes, thymic epithelial cells and macrophages. It is also expressed on activated T cells, but not on granulocytes, platelets or red blood cells. Resting T cells or endothelial cells can be induced to express HLA-DR antigens.
