The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesIHC-P: Use at a concentration of 5 µg/ml.
Peptide Elisa : Use at assay dependent dilution.
WB: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 45kDa band in Human Brain and Human Liver lysates at 1ug/ml. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the predicted size of approx. 101kDda according to NP_114152.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
FunctionGTPase-activating protein for the ADP ribosylation factor family (Potential). GTPase which may be involved in the degradation of expanded polyglutamine proteins through the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway.
Tissue specificityWidely expressed.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the centaurin gamma-like family. Contains 3 ANK repeats. Contains 1 Arf-GAP domain. Contains 1 PH domain.
Cellular localizationCytoplasm. In cells upon oxidative stress or in brains of Machado-Joseph disease patients, translocates to PML nuclear bodies.
ab15969 at 5ug/ml staining CENTG3 in human kidney tissue section by Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA fixed paraffin-embedded sections). Tissue underwent antigen retrieval in steam with citrate buffer (pH 6.0). A AP-staining procedure was used for detection.
