  • Application notes
Dot: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
    ELISA: 1/4000 - 1/20000.
This product has been assayed against 1.0µg of Choline Oxidase in a standard capture ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated streptavidin and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic-acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at RT.
IM: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
WB: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Predicted molecular weight: 1 kDa.
Suitable for use in other antibody based assays using streptavidin or avidin conjugates.

Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
  • Target

    • Relevance
Responsible for phosphatidylcholine synthesis via the CDP-choline pathway. Also exhibits ethanolamine kinase activity but at 14% efficiency compared with choline. ATP + choline = ADP + phosphocholine. Belongs to the choline/ethanolamine kinase family.
    • Cellular localization
      Cytoplasm.
