The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 10 µg/ml.
IHC-Fr: Use at an assay dependent concentration (See Abreview).
WB: Use at a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 32 kDa. Can be blocked with CTRP1 peptide (ab39751).
Note: CTRP1 is highly modified post-translationally and can migrate in SDS-PAGE at positions other than their predicted size.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
ab25973 at 10µg/ml staining CTRP1 in human kidney tissue by IHC
Immunohistochemistry (Frozen sections) - Anti-CTRP1 antibody (ab25973)This image was kindly supplied by Ms Nicola Broughton by Abreview
ab27973 staining CTRP1 in rat vibrissa tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections). Tissue was un-fixed but permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X in PBS. Samples were then blocked with 10% serum for 30 minutes at 25°C followed by incubation with the primary antibody, at a 1/100 dilution, for 15 hours at 4°C. An Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated donkey anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) was used as secondary antibody at a 1/500 dilution.
