The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
1/10 - 1/50.
1/50 - 1/100. Predicted molecular weight: 58 kDa.
FunctionCytochromes P450 are a group of heme-thiolate monooxygenases. In liver microsomes, this enzyme is involved in an NADPH-dependent electron transport pathway. It oxidizes a variety of structurally unrelated compounds, including steroids, fatty acids, and xenobiotics.
Tissue specificityLung, lymphocytes and placenta.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the cytochrome P450 family.
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) analysis of human lung carcinoma tissue sections labeling P450 1A1 - C-terminal with ab79819 at 1/25. Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde and blocked with 3% BSA for 0.5 hour at 37°C. Heat mediated antigen retrieval was performed using a citrate buffer (pH6). Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/25) for 1 hour at 37°C. A Peroxidase-conjugated Goat anti-rabbit polyclonal (ready to use) was used as the secondary antibody.
Western blot - Anti-Cytochrome P450 1A1 antibody (ab79819)
Anti-Cytochrome P450 1A1 antibody (ab79819) at 1/50 dilution + Mouse lung tissue lysate at 35 µg
Predicted band size : 58 kDa
