The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesWB: Use at a concentration of 1-5 µg/ml. IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 3 µg/ml.
This antibody has only been tested in WB against the recombinant fragment used as immunogen. We have no data on the detection of endogenous protein.
Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
FunctionPhosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate-dependent guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) which plays a role in the activation of Rho GTPases RAC1, RhoA and CDC42. Can regulate cell morphology in cooperation with activated RAC1. Plays a role in Th2 (T helper cells) development and/or activation, perhaps by interfering with ZAP-70 signaling.
Tissue specificityBroadly expressed in the immune system and can be detected in T and B-cells.
Sequence similaritiesContains 1 PH domain.
DomainThe PH domain is essential for phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate binding.
Post-translational modificationsTyrosine-phosphorylated by tyrosine-protein kinase LCK in response to T-cell activation.
Cellular localizationCytoplasm. Cell membrane. Nucleus. Recruited to the plasma membrane upon binding phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate.
