The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Antibody detection limit dilution: 1/8000.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.3 - 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 80 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 77 kDa).
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
FunctionParticipates in innate immune defense against viruses. Upon interaction with intracellular dsRNA produced during viral replication, triggers a transduction cascade which results in the induction and expression of antiviral cytokines such as IFN-beta and RANTES (CCL5). The RNA helicase domain may recognize and structurally modify viral RNA to facilitate detection by DDX58/RIG-I or by IFIH1/MDA5 whose affinity for dsRNA is lower.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the helicase family. Contains 1 helicase ATP-binding domain. Contains 1 helicase C-terminal domain.
