    Defects in DBH are the cause of dopamine beta-hydroxylase deficiency (DBH deficiency) [MIM:223360]; also known as norepinephrine deficiency or noradrenaline deficiency. This disorder is characterized by profound deficits in autonomic and cardiovascular function, but apparently only subtle signs, if any, of central nervous system dysfunction.

  • mmunohistochemical analysis of Dopamine beta Hydroxylase in paraffin embedded SW480 xenograft, using ab96615 at a 1/500 dilution.
  • ab96615 staining Dopamine beta Hydroxylase in human colorectal tumor tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-Fr - frozen sections). Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS and blocked with 5% goat serum for 1 hour at 24°C. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/1000) for 3 hours at 24°C. An Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG monoclonal (1/2000) was used as the secondary antibody.
