  • Application notesGSA: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
    ICC/IF: Use at an assay dependent dilution.

    IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 2 - 4 µg/ml for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min, followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.

    WB: Use at a concentration of 1 - 2 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 44 kDa.

    Not yet tested in other applications.
    Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
  • Target

    • FunctionTranscription activator that binds DNA cooperatively with DP proteins through the E2 recognition site, 5'-TTTC[CG]CGC-3' found in the promoter region of a number of genes whose products are involved in cell cycle regulation or in DNA replication. The DRTF1/E2F complex functions in the control of cell-cycle progression from G1 to S phase. E2F-4 binds with high affinity to RBL1 and RBL2. In some instances, can also bind RB protein.
