All lanes : Anti-EIF2S1 (phospho S51) antibody (ab47769) at 1/500 dilution
Lane 1 : K562 cell extract, untreated.
Lane 2 : K562 cell extract treated with IFN alpha (1000U/ml, 18 hours)
Predicted band size : 36 kDa
Observed band size : 40 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
Typically 5-30ug of total protein was loaded per lane of the gel.
