WB
  • Application notesWB: Use at a concentration of 1-5 µg/ml.

This antibody has only been tested in WB against the recombinant fragment used as immunogen. We have no data on the detection of endogenous protein.

Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
  • Target

    • RelevanceEAAT4 is expressed predominantly in the cerebellum (Purkinje cells) and weakly in the forebrain, where it transports L-glutamate, L-aspartate and D-aspartate, acting as a symport by cotransporting sodium. EAAT4 may function as a combined transporter and inhibitory glutamate receptor and also functions as an anion-selective ion channel.
    • Cellular localizationMembrane; multi-pass membrane protein.
