Fast track antibodies constitute a diverse group of products that have been released to accelerate your research, but are not yet fully characterized. They have all been affinity purified and show high titre values against the immunizing peptide (by ELISA).
Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 41 kDa. This antibody did not give bands in initial tests on lysate/cell line, we would welcome your feedback if you have tested this antibody in more suitable positive controls.
FunctionOrphan receptor that plays a central role during humoral immunity. Promotes activated B-cell localization in the outer follicle and interfollicular regions. Its specific expression during B-cell maturation helps position B-cells appropriately for mounting T-dependent antibody responses (By similarity). Signals constitutively through G(i)-alpha, but not G(s)-alpha or G(q)-alpha.
Tissue specificityExpressed abundantly in lymphoid tissues such as spleen and lymph node, and in B- and T-lymphocytes. Also highly expressed in lung, heart and gastrointestinal tract, and weakly expressed in the urogenital system and brain.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
