Munich Epigenetics Spotlight meeting | October 2017

Come and chat with fellow researchers in an open and friendly atmosphere

Helmholtz Zentrum München, Großhadern, Munich
October 17, 2017

Over the last few years it has become clear that chromatin based mechanisms govern most epigenetic phenomena. We are just at the beginning of understanding the implications of this for health and disease. At the Munich Epigenetics Spotlight we will discuss recent exciting advances in chromatin biology, histone and DNA/RNA modifications as well as our understanding of epigenetic phenomena in different model systems.

Who is the meeting for?

The Munich Epigenetic Spotlight meeting series offers an open platform to foster scientific exchange, create and forge close interactions between different research groups, provide a forum for presentation of results (especially for PostDocs and PhD students) in the presence of international guest speakers and form a nucleus in order to strengthen Munich as a center of excellence for research in Chromatin Biology.

Helmholtz Zentrum München is the German Research Center for Environmental Health. It investigates important common diseases which develop from the interaction of lifestyle, environmental factors and personal genetic background.

The meeting will  be held at Helmholtz Zentrum München's Großhadern campus.
