in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 25 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 24 kDa).
FAAP24 was identified as a protein that interacts with FANCM as part of the core Fanconi Anemia complex. It is homologous to the XPF family of endonucleases. FAAP24 is required for normal levels of FANCD2 ubiquitination after DNA damage. Knockdown of FAAP24 leads to chromosomal instability.

All lanes :
Anti-FAAP24 antibody (ab48124) at 1 µg/ml
Lane 1 : Jurkat nuclear extract lysate ( ab14844) Lane 2 : HeLa (Human epithelial carcinoma cell line) Nuclear Lysate Lane 3 : HeLa Whole Cell Lysate - Irradiated (5Gy Lysates/proteins at 20 µg per lane. Secondary Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) preadsorbed ( ab97080) at 1/5000 dilution Predicted band size : 24 kDa Observed band size : 25 kDa ( why is the actual band size different from the predicted?) Additional bands at : 120 kDa,40 kDa. We are unsure as to the identity of these extra bands.
