Applications

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab5309 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Application Abreviews Notes
IHC-P Use a concentration of 2 - 3 µg/ml. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
WB Use a concentration of 0.3 - 1.5 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 30, 48 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 48 kDa).Can be blocked with Human FbxW2 peptide (ab23101). The stronger band at 30kDa was consistently observed, but it is successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide (as is the 48kDa band).

Target

Anti-FbxW2 antibody images

  • Anti-FbxW2 antibody (ab5309) at 0.3 µg/ml + Human Kidney lysate (RIPA buffer, 30µg total protein per lane).

Predicted band size : 48 kDa
  • Ab5309 (3ug/ml) staining human FbxW2 in human kidney by immunohistochemistry using paraffin embedded tissue.

Microwaved antigen retrieval with citrate buffer, pH6, HRP-staining.
