GFFLRIHPDGRVDGVREKSDPHIK, corresponding to amino acids 40-63 of Human FGF basic.
Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab16828 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
|IHC-P||Use a concentration of 1 - 5 µg/ml. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.|
|IHC-Fr||Use at an assay dependent concentration. PubMed: 22302773|
|WB||Use a concentration of 1 - 5 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 18 kDa.|
Formaldehyde-fixed, paraffin-embedded human pancreas tissue stained for FGF using ab16828 at 1/50 dilution in immunohistochemical analysis.
Formaldehyde-fixed, paraffin-embedded rat tendon tissue stained for FGF using ab16828 at 1/200 dilution in immunohistochemical analysis.
Paraffin-embedded human liver tissue stained for FGF using ab16828. A case of chronic hepatitis showing a few positive hepatocytes in (a) periportal areas (×200), (b) the pericentral zone (×400) and (c) intermediate hepatocytes (arrow) (×200). In HCC, (d) positivity was also detected in HCC tumor cells (×200).
ab16828 at 5ug/ml staining human B lineage lymphoma tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections). Following heat mediated antigen retrieval, the antibody was incubated with the tissue for 1 hour. Bound antibody was then detected using a biotinylated horse anti-rabbit and mouse IgG antibody.
