Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab111969 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
|WB||Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 48, 50 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 35 kDa).|
FSTL1 contains a number of potential glycosylation sites (SwissProt) which may explain its migration at a higher molecular weight than predicted.
The band observed at 48 kDa could potentially be a cleaved form of FSTL1 due to the presence of a 20amino acid signal peptide.
This blot was produced using a 10% Bis-tris gel under the MOPS buffer system. The gel was run at 200V for 50 minutes before being transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane at 30V for 70 minutes. The membrane was then blocked for an hour using 5% Bovine Serum Albumin before being incubated with ab111969 overnight at 4°C. Antibody binding was detected using an anti-rabbit antibody conjugated to HRP, and visualised using ECL development solution.
ab111969 has not yet been referenced specifically in any publications.
