The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 64 kDa. Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.
Use at an assay dependent concentration.
Titre using peptide based assay 1/1562500.
GALNT13 is a member of the UDP-N-acetyl-alpha-D-galactosamine:polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase (GalNAcT; EC 22.214.171.124) family, which initiate O-linked glycosylation of mucins by the initial transfer of N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) with an alpha-linkage to a serine or threonine residue. It is specifically expressed in neuronal cells; expressed in fetal brain, whole adult brain, cerebral cortex and cerebellum; not expressed in other tissues tested. There are two named isoforms.
Golgi apparatus membrane; Single pass type II membrane protein.
