RelevanceGemin 5 is part of a large macromolecular complex localized to both the cytoplasm and the nucleus that plays a role in the cytoplasmic assembly of small nuclear ribonucleoproteins (snRNPs). Other members of this complex include SMN, Gemin 2 (SIP1), Gemin 3 (DDX20), and Gemin 4.

Immunoprecipitation - Gemin 5 antibody (ab99360)
ab99360 at 1 µg/ml detecting Gemin 5 in HeLa whole cell lysate by western blot analysis following immunoprecipitation. Detection utilised ECL with a 1 second exposure.
For immunoprecipitation, ab99360 was used at at 3 µg/mg lysate; 1 mg of lysate was used for IP and 20% of IP was loaded.
Lane 1; IP using ab99360
Lane 2; IP using control IgG.
