Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab23472 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
|WB||1/2000. Predicted molecular weight: 4 kDa.|
|Sandwich ELISA||Use at an assay dependent concentration. Can be paired for Sandwich ELISA with Mouse monoclonal [8G9] to GLP1 (amidated) (ab26278).
We recommend that ab26278 is used as capture antibody. ab26278 binds to the c-terminus and presents the mid-molecular epitope to the ab23472 detection antibody, so it has easy access to it. For the same reason we do not recommend swapping the pair, as the binding of the mid molecular epitope to the coat will not present the c-terminus epitope to the ab26278 antibody in a very favourable manner.
|IHC-P||Use at an assay dependent concentration.|
|ELISA||Use at an assay dependent concentration.|
ab23472 staining GLP1 in Mouse GLUTag intestinal L cell by ICC/IF (Immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 for 10 minutes and blocked with 5% serum for 30 minutes at 22°C. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/400 in 5% serum) for 24 hours at 4°C. An Alexa Fluor® 555-conjugated Goat anti-mouse IgG polyclonal (1/150) was used as the secondary antibody.
