Application Flow Cytometry
In this experiment, we are trying to look at bound IgG tomcat platelets. It helps diagnose thrombocytopenia in cats.
Cat whole blood is separate to collect the platelet rich plasma, then this is added to the antibodies and incubated at room temp. for 30 mins. The cells are then washed and read on the FACS calibur.
