  • IHC image of SSB staining in Human breast adenocarcinoma formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section*. The section was pre-treated using pressure cooker heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH6) for 30mins. The section was incubated with ab75927, 0.5µg/ml overnight at +4°C. An HRP-conjugated secondary (Ab97245, 1/200 dilution) was used for 1hr at room temperature. The section was counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

The inset negative control image is taken from an identical assay without primary antibody.

Customer reviews and Q&As

Western blot
I tested with 3 mouse tumor lysates and 3 different IgGs.

Tumor lysates have been also pre-cleared with protein A/G beads to get rid of most (but not all) IgG.

No primary antibody was used. This secondary antibody was incubated 1:5000 at room temperature for 1 hour. Here are the results:

1. Ab97245 reacts with mouse IgG2a heavy chain strongly
2. Ab97245 reacts with mouse IgG2a light chain slightly, which is the reason I did not give it a 5-star.
3. Ab97245 does not react with mouse IgG1 or human IgG, neither heavy chain or light chain.

Thank you for your email.

These products (ab97245, ab97250, ab98693) can be used as secondary antibodies.

Just let me know if you have further questions.

Thank you for your interest in our secondary antibodies. I will answer your questions as best I can now but cross-reactivity of the mouse anti-human IgG isotype antibodies will require data from tests which I do not have at hand. I will forward these t...
