Applications

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab42457 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Application Abreviews Notes
IHC-P Use at an assay dependent concentration.
WB Use a concentration of 0.5 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 52 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 53 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.

Target

Images

  • Anti-GPBP1 antibody (ab42457) at 0.5 µg/ml + HepG2 Cell Lysate

    Secondary
HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG at 1/75000 dilution

Predicted band size : 53 kDa
Observed band size : 52,59 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
Additional bands at : 59 kDa. We are unsure as to the identity of these extra bands.
  • Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Human Kidney sections) using ab42457 at 4-8 ug/ml. Positively labelled epithelial cells of tubule are indicated using arrows.
