The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesPeptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1/2000.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.3 - 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 37 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 37 kDa).
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
FunctionReceptor for the endogenous fatty-acid ethanolamide oleoylethanolamide (OEA) and lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC). Functions as a glucose-dependent insulinotropic receptor. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylate cyclase. Seems to act through a G(s) mediated pathway.
Tissue specificityPredominantly expressed in the pancreas, especially in the islets.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
