  • RelevanceG protein coupled receptors (GPCRs, or GPRs) contain 7 transmembrane domains and transduce extracellular signals through heterotrimeric G proteins. GPCR GPR18 is a member of this family and has been reported to be expressed at high levels in testis and spleen and at lower levels in other tissues associated with endocrine and immunologic/hematologic functions. It is thought to be a receptor for N arachidonyl glycine. It may contribute to regulation of the immune system.

Anti-GPCR GPR18 antibody images

  • ab76258 detecting GPCR GPR18 in Human synovial fibroblasts by Flow Cytometry. Cells were detached with accutase (PAA), fixed with formaldehyde and permeabilized with methanol (15 minutes, -20°C). Cells were gated on fibroblasts and incubated with the primary antibody diluted 1/400 (PBS, 1% BSA) and incubated with the sample for 30 minutes at 21°C. The secondary was a biotin-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit polyclonal antibody diluted 1/168. Detected with streptavidin/PE 0.003µg/ml (1% BSA in PBS, 30 minutes). The red histogram indicates the isotype control, black histogram is the specific stain for GPCR GPR18.
