G protein coupled receptors (GPCRs, or GPRs) contain 7 transmembrane domains and transduce extracellular signals through heterotrimeric G proteins. GPCR GPR18 is a member of this family and has been reported to be expressed at high levels in testis and spleen and at lower levels in other tissues associated with endocrine and immunologic/hematologic functions. It is thought to be a receptor for N arachidonyl glycine. It may contribute to regulation of the immune system.

ab76258 detecting GPCR GPR18 in Human synovial fibroblasts by Flow Cytometry. Cells were detached with accutase (PAA), fixed with formaldehyde and permeabilized with methanol (15 minutes, -20°C). Cells were gated on fibroblasts and incubated with the primary antibody diluted 1/400 (PBS, 1% BSA) and incubated with the sample for 30 minutes at 21°C. The secondary was a biotin-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit polyclonal antibody diluted 1/168. Detected with streptavidin/PE 0.003µg/ml (1% BSA in PBS, 30 minutes). The red histogram indicates the isotype control, black histogram is the specific stain for GPCR GPR18.
