In immunoblotting and ELISA, this antibody exhibits greater than 50 % crossreactivity with recombinant rat CINC1, rat CINC2 beta, recombinant mouse KC, and mouse MIP2.
Also, less than 25 % cross-reactivity is exhibited using this antibody with recombinant human IL-8, human GRO alpha, human GRO beta, and human GRO gamma.
Purified recombinant rat CINC2 alpha expressed in E. coli.
Endotoxin: <10 ng/mg antibody determined by the LAL method.
Shipped at 4°C. Upon delivery aliquot and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.

Immunogen affinity purified
Affinity isolated antigen specific antibody is obtained from goat anti-CINC2 alpha antiserum by immunospecific purification which removes essentially all goat serum proteins, including immunoglobulins, which do not specifically bind to the peptide.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
ELISA: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 1 µg/ml. The detection limit is approximately 0.06 ng recombinant rat CINC2 alpha per well.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 7.6 kDa.
The detection limit of recombinant rat CINC2 alpha is approximately 2 ng/lane and 20 ng/lane under nonreducing and reducing conditions, respectively.
Not tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Produced by activated monocytes and neutrophils and expressed at sites of inflammation. Hematoregulatory chemokine, which, in vitro, suppresses hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation. GRO-beta(5-73) shows a highly enhanced hematopoietic activity.
Belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family.
The N-terminal processed form GRO-beta(5-73) is produced by proteolytic cleavage after secretion from bone marrow stromal cells.
