Applications

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab62266 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Application Abreviews Notes
WB Use a concentration of 1.25 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 16 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 16 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.
IHC-P Use a concentration of 4 - 8 µg/ml.
ELISA Use at an assay dependent concentration.

Titre using peptide based assay: 1/312500.

Target

Anti-HBZ antibody images

  • All lanes : HBZ antibody (ab62266) at 1.25µg/ml in 5% skim milk / PBS buffer

Lane 1 : Molecular weight marker
    Lane 2 : K562 cell lysate at 10 µg

    Secondary
HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG at 1/50000 dilution

Predicted band size : 16 kDa
Observed band size : 16 kDa
Additional bands at : 35 kDa. We are unsure as to the identity of these extra bands.
    Gel concentration: 15%
  • Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) analysis of human liver tissue labelled HBZ with ab62266 at 4-8µg/ml. Arrows indicate positively labelled hemopoietic cells. Magnification: 400X.
