A region within synthetic peptide: QVGAVKVKEE PVDSDEDAQI QEMESGEQAA FMQQVIGKDL APGFVIKVII, corresponding to C terminal amino acids 541-590 of Human HDAC9
Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab59718 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
|WB||Use a concentration of 1.25 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 50 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 66 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.|
|IHC-P||Use a concentration of 4 - 8 µg/ml.|
|ChIP||Use at an assay dependent concentration. PubMed: 20596014|
|ELISA||Use at an assay dependent concentration.|
|IHC-Fr||Use at an assay dependent concentration. PubMed: 25011550|
ChIP analysis using ab59718 (0.5µg/mL) binding HDAC9 in human HCT116 colon cancer cells. Without (- peptide) and with (+ peptide) blocking peptide. Protein binding was detected using real-time PCR.
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) analysis of human kidney tissue labelling HDAC9 with ab59718 at 4µg/ml. Epithelial cells of the renal tubule were positively labelled (indicated with arrows).
