Target

  • FunctionRequired for activity of the Ah (dioxin) receptor. This protein is required for the ligand-binding subunit to translocate from the cytosol to the nucleus after ligand binding. The complex then initiates transcription of genes involved in the activation of PAH procarcinogens. The heterodimer with HIF1A or EPAS1/HIF2A functions as a transcriptional regulator of the adaptive response to hypoxia.

    HIF1 beta antibody (ab54786) at 1ug/lane + HeLa cell lysate at 25ug/lane.
  • ab54786 staining HIF1 beta in human glioblastoma cell line U373MG by Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence. The cells were fixed in paraformaldehyde, permeabilised in 0.1% Triton X-100 and then blocked using 0.5% BSA/TBS/Tween for 20 minutes at room temperature. Samples were then incubated with primary antibody at 1/75 for 16 hours at 4°C. The secondary antibody used was a goat anti-mouse IgG conjugated to Cy3® (red) used at a 1/400 dilution.
