What is the concentration of this antibody?

ANSWER:

Thank you for your inquiry.

I heard back from our lab that the concentration of all lots of ab7856 is 0.2 mg/ml. I have since added this information to the datasheet, but it may take a few days for the system to show it.

I hope this information helps. Please contact us with any other questions.

Hello, This antibody is no longer available. Which one would you recommand instead? Is there a publication showing it has already been used for immunohistochemistry on skin? Thank you in advance. Sincerely,

ANSWER:

Thank you for contacting us. The clone CR3/43 has already been used frequently in immunohistochemistry. I have no acces to some articles, but I think it has been used in here for skin staining: https://springerlink3.metapress.com/content/x6801633p4761hh1/resource-secured/?target=fulltext.pdf&sid=zsvhv2pbyiz1baud0nolf5c4&sh=www.springerlink.com and http://www.liebertonline.com/doi/abs/10.1089/thy.1996.6.41 Even without image, the clone has also been used in this article: http://www.springerlink.com/content/gw57180081qulj62/ We do guarantee our products to work as stated on the datasheet, and do therefore guarantee the anti HLA DR+DP+DQ antibodies, clone CR3/43, ab7856 and the ab17076 (prediluted) in immunohistochemistry on human paraffin sections (the ab17076 also on frozen sections). http://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=7856 http://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=17076 I hope this information is helpful to you.
