Specificityab69559 detects an ~70-75 kDa protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of plant cytosolic Hsc70 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots. It does not cross react with E. coli DnaK, mammalian Hsc70, recombinant hamster BiP or spinach BiP.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 70 kDa. Note: Although this antibody works well for immunoprecipitations under native conditions, it is not recommended for immunoprecipitating cytosolic Hsc70 from tomato lysates.
