  • Product overview

    Quantify up to 75 proteins and peptides per well, using just 12.5 µL of sample, with FirePlex® immunoassays. The assay takes approximately 3.5 hours, followed by particle analysis using a compatible flow cytometer and data analysis using our free FirePlex Analysis Workbench software.

    ICAM2 is a member of the intercellular adhesion molecule (ICAM) family. All ICAM proteins are type I transmembrane glycoproteins, contain 2-9 immunoglobulin like C2 type domains, and bind to the leukocyte adhesion LFA1 protein. This protein may play a role in lymphocyte recirculation by blocking LFA1 dependent cell adhesion. It mediates adhesive interactions important for antigen specific immune response, NK cell mediated clearance, lymphocyte recirculation, and other cellular interactions important for immune response and surveillance.

The interpolated dilution factor corrected mean values are plotted. The mean ICAM2 concentration was determined to be 120 ng/mL in serum, 80.2 ng/mL in plasma (EDTA), 39.2 ng/mL in plasma (heparin), and 53.8 ng/mL in plasma (citrate).

  • The concentrations of ICAM2 were interpolated from the ICAM2 standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. 1X diluted samples are as follows: 25% urine, 25% milk (defatted), 25% cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), 25% synovial fluid (SF), and 25% bronchial lavage (BAL). The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean ICAM2 concentration was determined to be 824 pg/mL in urine, 1348 pg/mL in milk (defatted), 483 pg/mL in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), 31378 pg/mL in synovial fluid (SF), and 1370 pg/mL in bronchial lavage (BAL). Saliva was tested and measured less than the lowest human ICAM2 standard, 123.46 pg/mL.

  • The concentrations of ICAM2 were interpolated from the ICAM2 standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. 1X diluted samples are as follows: 25% 10F HGDMEM media. The interpolated dilution factor corrected mean values are plotted. The mean ICAM2 concentration was determined to be 66.1 ng/mL in 10F HGDMEM media.
