Question 1

Tuesday 28-September-2004

I'm wondering if the human intestinal Alk. Phos. antibody will recognize the human placental Alk. Phos. isoform? Thanks,

ANSWER:

I have heard back from our source for this antibody and unfortunately we don't know if the human alk.phos antibody will recognise the human placental alk phos form.

Should you decide to test the antibody in an application or tissue for which we do not have any information, please let us know how you get on and in return we will forward a GBP10/ USD15/ EUR15 Amazon gift voucher.

Question 2

Monday 25-June-2001

Can this Ab be used for the immunohistochemical detection of human intestinal type AF in human paraffin embedded material ? What is the suggested technique ?

ANSWER:

Unfortunately we do not have any specific details for immunohistochemical fixation for this antibody. We suggest therefore that you optimize the reagent for the specific tissue/fixation method. Try mild conditions first and determine if morphology is intact while antibody/antigen binding is present.
