  • Product overview

    Abcam’s SCF Human ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Human SCF in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants.

    This assay employs an antibody specific for Human SCF coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and SCF present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-Human SCF antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of SCF bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm.

  • RelevanceStem Cell Factor (SCF) is a hematopoietic growth factor that exerts its activity at the early stages of hematopoiesis. SCF stimulates the proliferation of mast cells and is able to augment the proliferation of both myeloid and lymphoid hematopoietic progenitors in bone marrow culture. It also mediates cell to cell adhesion and acts synergistically with other cytokines, probably interleukins. A soluble form is produced by proteolytic processing of isoform 1 in the extracellular domain.

Thank you very much for sending the details. These were very helpful.

As we discussed on phone please try the experiment again by keeping all reagents at room temperature.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you very much for your phone call this morning.

As discussed I will be followingthis case further. Could you please provide the following details;
