Its main function is the regulation of the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood. Major zinc transporter in plasma, typically binds about 80% of all plasma zinc.

Anti-Human Serum Albumin antibody [AL-01] images

  • IHC image of Human Serum Albumin staining in human liver formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section, performed on a Leica Bond system using the standard protocol F. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH6, epitope retrieval solution 1) for 20 mins. The section was then incubated with ab7793, 5µg/ml, for 15 mins at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

    For other IHC staining systems (automated and non-automated) customers should optimize variable parameters such as antigen retrieval conditions, primary antibody concentration and antibody incubation times.

Thank you for your enquiry. The antibody has been tested and characterized for Western blot application. However, the epitope has not been mapped.

This antibody reacts only with human serum albumin (no cross-reactivity found with other species).

Unfortuinately, we currently do not stock a product to meet your requirements.

Yes, this antibody recognises HSA in WB under reducing conditions.

The concentration of Ig is 1mg/1ml. The suggested starting dilution is 1:500, but it will be necessary to optimise this.

Sorry for the mistake on the datasheet. The antibody is a mouse monoclonal. The rabbit reference was the mistake.
